DiSC assessment and development tools – What is the behavioral style of the people in your team?

DiSC® is a model that explains human behavior and describes different behavioral preferences and behavioral style arising therefrom. The acronym DiSC comes from the first letters of the four major behavioral dimensions.

DiSC

((Dominance) – direct, results-oriented, strong-willed and forceful
i  (Influence) – outgoing, enthusiastic, optimistic and lively
S (Steadiness) – even-tempered, accommodating, patient and humble
C (Conscientiousness) – meticulous, reserved, precise and systematic

Managers become more flexible once they realize the impact of their behavior on the work environment and how this in turn affects employee productivity and commitment. Managers learn to adapt their behavior to different motivators that motivate their people. Sales and customer service specialists learn to recognize the different needs of customers, which helps to develop a trust-based relationship with the customer.

The teams achieve better results if they understand the different behavioral styles of their colleagues. After participating in the DiSC training, you will be able to better communicate with your teammates, appreciate the strengths of each member and reduce potential conflicts.
